Fill your days and nights with your friends enjoying all the traditional summer camp activities that are part of the magic of YMCA Camp Manitou-Lin. Our camps offer a unique and memorable experience for your camper, with customized programs and new features every year. Campers will participate in activities that teach them the importance of communication, collaboration, critical thinking, cooperation, and countless other valuable skills. And our dedicated staff is trained to carry out the Y values of caring, honesty, respect, responsibility, and inclusion to ensure your child has a safe, positive, and enjoyable camp experience. Summer has never sounded so good.


Our overnight camp activities offer your camper so many ways to have fun! All while gaining valuable life skills such as confidence, self-discipline, social interaction, and independence.

Stay-Over Weekends

Turn one week of camp into two with our weekend stay-over. Stay over Saturday during these two weeks for an additional $75. Campers will take the time to recharge and get ready for the next week’s camp while making new friends and getting a more laid back camp experience.

Only offered for our overnight campers, a camptivity is a special two-hour activity period held each day that campers choose based on their interests the first night at camp.

  • Horseback: Centered on western riding skills, campers will learn horse wellness, tack maintenance, and riding skills.
  • Water Sports (Skiing, Wakeboarding, etc.): Build your water sports skills while making a splash on Barlow Lake – from tubing and knee-boarding, to skiing, wakeboarding, and more.
  • Target Sports: Archery, rock throwing, and slingshots. Mountain golf, disc golf, and more.
  • Paddle Sports: Canoeing, kayaking, sailing, paddle boarding, and more. 
  • High Adventure: Low ropes, high ropes, zipline, and more.
  • Extreme Sports: Mountain biking, skating, repelling, skateboarding, and more.
  • Outdoor Living Skills: Hiking, fire building, outdoor cooking, survival, and “Leave No Trace” principles.
  • Crafts: Leatherworking, beadwork, basket weaving, jewelry, and more.
  • Nature/Science: Special activities focused on the water cycle, tree and animal identification, insect dissection, and much, much more. 
  • Team Sports: Soccer, kickball, cricket, basketball and more.
